Oceanology Asia 2024 (referred to as ‘OA 2024’) opened today at the CECIS, Shanghai!

As an industry event in the field of marine science and technology, OA 2024 gathered many advanced enterprises in marine science and technology to participate in the exhibition, and attracted more than 3,000 experts, scholars and technicians to visit the exhibition site on the first day of the exhibition, and the participants carried out in-depth exchanges on the current research dynamics, technological innovations and industry trends.

Artificial intelligence plays an important role in marine surveying and monitoring, which can improve the efficiency and accuracy of marine surveying and monitoring data acquisition and reduce the risks in surveying and monitoring operations. In the future, artificial intelligence technology will play a greater role in marine resources detection, marine ecological protection, marine disaster early warning and other fields.
CSO Conference Sub-forum 2: Ocean Big Data Intelligence
Ocean big data intelligence is one of the frontiers for current Oceanography. In recent years, artificial intelligence and big data technologies have emerged as a new force, perfectly integrating with marine numerical forecasting, giving birth to the emerging field of marine intelligent forecasting.
CSO Conference Sub-forum 4: AI-empowered Marine Remote Sensing
Ocean remote sensing has greatly enhanced humankind's knowledge and understanding of the ocean. Nowadays, ocean remote sensing research has entered into the era of Big Data, which requires efficient and accurate processing and analysis. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Ocean Remote Sensing, as a frontier of current science and technology, has pushed the acquisition, processing, analysis and application of ocean remote sensing information to new heights. The AI-driven Ocean Remote Sensing sub-conference organized by the Ocean Remote Sensing Professional Committee of CSO, focuses on the latest advances in the intersection of AI and ocean remote sensing and explores the application of Artificial Intelligence in the field of ocean remote sensing.
Smart Ocean Engineering Technology Innovation Conference
This conference focused on the cutting-edge trend and innovative practice of Marine digital intelligence, gathered all parties of industry, university and research to exchange and cooperate, and jointly discussed the new connotation, new form, new technology and new application of Marine digital intelligence development, to help the transformation and upgrading of smart offshore industry, and to contribute to the sustainable development of Marine economy.
